Hi, I’m Matt!
I’ve been doing construction for the past 15 years, working on a variety of different projects from framing houses to building decks and fences, and have spent the last five years working as a manager at a manufacturing facility.
While I enjoyed working in a more corporate role, I knew it was time to find something that was more hands on. I’ve always liked figuring out how things are built and I’m constantly being asked by people I know if I can do work for them so I decided to start Davey Does It.
Whether you’re looking for general carpentry work, exterior upgrades or basic plumbing and fixture installation, I have the experience, knowledge and wide range of skills to help you take on your next project.

Fun Fact
I’m a married father of two boys and over the last 2 years, I have spent all my spare time, after work and on weekends, building our family home by myself. From framing, all the way to the finish, I completed a 2400 sqft home for our family to live in. Although it was a larger project, I really enjoyed sharing this process with my sons and sharing my love for building and home improvement with them.
